Wow! Words cannot describe how the food was, simply amazing Made me feel like i am eating on the streets of Mumbai… Every dish in the menu is simply amazing The taste, the flavours, the aroma and the service, just loved it. The service was very fast. I would not consider and compare the place to fine dine or any such restaurants but would rather say it’s the best Street Food Joint in London. The taste and flavours beat a famous fine dine around here as well. Best Value for Money as well… Keep it up

Came here for a dinner with friends. We ordered a mixture of items from the menu. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the butter chicken and karahi lamb curry, both were very good but the butter chicken was the star. The lamb ribs were incredibly tender and flavourful and the momos very tasty. We ordered the spinach starter and that was absolutely delicious. Almost everything was amazing, solid 9.5/10 visit. Will definitely be coming again.

I recently visited Saffron Street to celebrate my friend birthday, and overall, it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was fantastic, with a lively yet relaxed vibe that set the perfect mood for a special occasion. It was clear that the restaurant put a lot of thought into creating an inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing! Each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The service was also top-notch. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Their warm hospitality truly added to the overall experience. However, despite having made an advance booking, we had to wait around 40 minutes to be seated. This was a bit frustrating, especially for a planned celebration. I would suggest that Saffron Street review their reservation and seating process to avoid such delays, as it would greatly improve the overall dining experience.

We had a table of 5 and though I can’t comment about the large platter my friends had ordered, but the mixed grill was a fantastic choice. The platter had a mixed reception, as white oily and carb based. The pani puri’s were decent. All the meats were delicious and flavourful. A massive portion for the price and is definitely worth it. The service was a little slow and underwhelming, but it wasn’t bad. Will be back!

This is a hidden gem in Ilford. Have been following reviews for few months, and thought will give it a go for Sunday Lunch Nice choice for vegetarians and good selection if you are foodie Kalai the chef, ensured our order was served within 15 minutes. Staff were very polite and recommended few signature dishes from the menu. Lunch crowd was just building up for a Sunny Sunday at 14.00 pm, but the place got pretty full by 3.30 and there was big reservation for 20 people, so we were on time before they arrived Kitchen was super busy with Deliveroo orders too, so it must be popular one for locals! Please make sure, you are super hungry before you come to this place to do justice to the meal. Definitely coming back

Knockout restaurant. The food was spot on, all authentic and full flavoured. Had the thali, mixed grill and desserts. Loved the thali, all freshly made so had crunch and flavour. Chops were melt in your mouth and perfectly spiced (also in the mixed grill). Biryani was very good. All good portion size. Mixed grill - succulent chicken and good portion too. Again chops beautifully tender. Salty lassi was excellent. The desserts were amazing. I was expecting a lot from the fried falooda and it beat my expectations, super thin filo pastry giving it a delicate crispy texture with delicious ice cream set in the rest of the falooda components. Never had it this way before and a delicious experience. Milk cake was also a favourite. This is all presented really well and with great service. We went with friends who love this place and has become our favourite restaurant in the area.

Excellent restaurant which we visited for my son's birthday dinner. Food was tasty and well presented, service was very good too and staff were helpful. Only thing is, it does get very busy so be sure to book before visiting as waiting time can be an hour on weekends.
